Summary

The Airbus ADT822 Transceiver is a military standard (MIL-STD) 1553B analog transceiver designed for space applications. It is implemented with two analog transceiver application-specific integrated circuits (ASIC). It operates with 5 Volts of power supply for the analog part, and 3.3 or 5 Volts for the digital part by selecting the voltage common collector (VCC) voltage. Some of its key features include compatibility with Harris or Smith digital interfaces, operational capability with standard centre tapped transformers, and filtering on the receiver to improve signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio.
