Summary

The CubeSpace CubeSense S is a CMOS-based Sun sensor with a wide field of view, low power usage, and high accuracy. It is a highly compact, single-sensor head with integrated electronics. It is based on a high-resolution 1.3-megapixel imager, CubeSense offers better coverage than most sensors in the same performance range thanks to the wide field of view. All its sensors are calibrated in state-of-the-art clean and dark, optics calibration room, using a sun simulator and highly accurate rotation stage.

Flight heritage

The CubeSpace CubeSense S is flight proven in various missions since 2014.

Testing & qualification

The CubeSpace CubeSense S is qualified in vibration, thermal, vacuum, and radiation.
