Summary

The Endurosat X-band Single Patch Antenna is a right hand circularly polarized antenna. The antenna is designed to have low mass and small form-factor, which makes it easily integrated on different satellite structures. It can also be integrated with other devices on the surface of the satellite.

Key features

  • Half Power Beam Width (HPBW) - 74 deg
  • Gain - 6+ dBi over operational bandwidth

Flight heritage

The Endurosat X-Band Patch Antenna has achieved flight heritage.

Testing & qualification

A full campaign of tests at qualification level has been performed on a qualification engineering model: qualification tests, level and duration tests were performed following the ESA standard ECSS-E-ST-10-03C and GEVS standard GSFC-STD-7000A. Tests include: random vibration, sinusoidal vibration, pyroshock test, thermal cycling and thermal vacuum.
