The Glavkosmos Space Platform 50 is a platform for small spacecraft weighing up to 70kg with three axis orientation operating at low circular orbit.

The platform features a nickel-metal hydride battery, single onboard control system, passive thermal control system on heat pipes and heaters, motion control system of the spacecraft on electromagnetic devices and propulsion system (hydrazine/gas) which can be installed on demand


The platform is used for technological scientific and educational purposes in low circular orbits.


It is possible to adapt the product to meet customer requirements.

Flight heritage

The system has achieved flight heritage. The prototype of the platform is part of the ICA "MIR", launched in July 28, 2012.
