Summary

O.C.E. Technology (OCE) offers the ITP30 Li-ion battery, part of the LB Series family of products, for LEO and GEO applications. Key characteristics include high mechanical strength, resilience to impact and vibration during launch, high specific energy, long lifetime, and a wide range of working temperatures. The Li-ion batteries are fully-enclosed in an aluminum alloy. Batteries of the same type can be connected in series or in parallel.

Main features of this battery include:

  • High specific energy
  • Proprietary space cell design and processes
  • Modular and flexible battery range
  • Hermetically-sealed cells
  • Long lifetime: 30000 LEO cycles at 20% DOD

OCE offers a range of satellite subsystems. These subsystems have been designed by Chinese space organisations over the past 20 years and have heritage on many Chinese satellites and space vehicles.
