Summary

iSIM-SWIR is the latest development of the iSIM family. It is an innovative VNIR & SWIR camera that operates in the spectral range of 450-1700nm, while taking full advantage of the iSIM-170 optomechanical design and requiring no cryogenic cooling system.

This payload includes the optical front-end, with one channel assigned to VNIR and the other channel to SWIR. The electronics includes state-of-the-art CMOS and InGaAs matrix detectors, in the VNIR and SWIR ranges respectively, as well as the corresponding electronics for payload management and control.

With a total mass of 15kg, iSIM-SWIR can achieve a resolution of <2.5m in the SWIR range. The Super Resolution algorithm developed by SATLANTIS can improve the spatial resolution by a factor of at least 2.5 and match the GSD to the instrument's GRD.

iSIM-SWIR's volume is deal for <100kg satellites. iSIM-SWIR offers the following multi-spectral bands: 4 VNIR + 4 SWIR.
