Summary

The Scanway S.T.A.R. Imager is an optical system designed for nanosatellites and microsatellites and optimized for use in standard CubeSat frames.

The imager is scalable to 1U giving a possiblity to be integrated with CubeSat 3U. The system is made of athermalized Titanium-Aluminium and composite structure.

S.T.A.R Imager is a part of the STAR VIBE mission, Scanway's first demonstration mission to be flown in June 2022.
