Astro- und Feinwerktechnik Adlershof GmbH is a German company in the business of Aerospace engineering based in Berlin-Adlershof. We specialise on the development, production and verification of technologies for usage in aerospace up to complete satellite busses, including Ground support equipment. As a firm in the area of small satellites, we create and build high performance technologies and test these with a wide array of techniques and methods. Astro- und Feinwerktechnik has worked on a couple of well-known projects as for example the Cassini-Huygens-Mission, the Rosetta-Mission and has even developed and built a special camera-tripod for the ISS that allows for better pictures at night. Another important part of the Astro-assortment are the (smart) reaction wheels and other attitude control components, to which we count the smallest commercially available reaction Wheel (RW1).
