We are focused on the technology needs of tomorrow - a philosophy that always places us at the leading edge of the technology today.

Honeywell Edinburgh's Microwave manufacturing capability is supported by on-going investment in production and test facilities to bring continuous improvement. We have a highly trained workforce who have the skills and training to work within a number of production areas. This allows us to cope with rapid increases in production required to address high volume markets. Our 5,000 sq.m factory includes a 700 sq.m purpose built Class 10,000 cleanroom, enabling the production of MIC, MMIC and SAW based subsystems and components.

We have in-house photolith capabilities including both thick and thin film processing. For microwave circuits this processing is on ceramic substrates. For SAW applications processing is on Quartz, Lithium Niobate and Lithium Tantalate.

Computerised materials, purchasing and planning, and a dedicated Production Engineering Department, allow us to respond quickly to market needs.
