Key highlights
The Accord Navika-251-HD is a GPS-GLONASS-SBAS receiver module designed for sounding rocket application.
Navika-251-HD supports the NMEA-0183 message protocol to communicate the location information. In addition, Accord can optionally provide proprietary messages to convey additional information for tighter integration with the end application.
Navika-251-HD provides an accurate time pulse with associated GPS / UTC time stamping along with the location data. The module offers a UART interface to connect with the host computer for data transmissions.
Navika-251-HD can be interfaced with either an active or passive GPS antenna. For an active antenna interface, it is possible to interface an external detection/protection circuit to the module to flag off any discrepancy in the antenna. A passive antenna can be interfaced through an external LNA between the antenna and the module.
The Navika-251-HD provides a fast fix in the cold start and is tuned to perform at velocities and accelerations beyond commercial limits.
