Acktar™ offers Metal Velvet™, an ultra-diffusive, wideband (EUV-FIR), absorbing aluminium foil with 99.9% specular absorptance. The key characteristics of the Metal Velvet coating include:

Acktar produces a range of high-emissivity, ultra-black coatings for the suppression of stray light throughout the optical spectrum (UV-VIS-IR). Coated foils and thin films enable customers to apply the coating to surfaces without the need to ship the parts to Acktar.
