The Airbus ASTRIX NS is a compact and lightweight 3-axis fiber-optic gyroscope designed for space applications in low earth orbit (LEO), medium earth orbit (MEO), and geostationary earth orbit (GEO) along with electric orbit raising (EOR). The product is radiation tolerant and its electronic design is based on automotive components qualified for space operations with Airbus. It is an ITAR free product. Depending on the required shielding, ASTRIX NS weighs between 1.1 to 1.4 kgs and has a power consumption rate of 6 Watts.
