The Airbus STARKIT is a development platform designed for the development and rapid prototyping of hardware and software applications in space. It is specially developed to enable the implementation of designs using the SCOC3 processor provided by Airbus Defence and Space, based on the LEON3FT Sparc V8 core processor. It comprises a custom-designed printed circuit board (PCB) in compact popular connection interface (PCI) 6U format plugged along with additional custom IO expansion boards, either on the front or rear side, for full system prototyping. It has seven SpaceWire links and four UART interfaces.
