Key highlights

The ANT61 Beacon S is a self-contained communications module that operates independently of a spacecraft’s primary systems.

If the main radio, avionics, or power is degraded, the Beacon maintains two-way contact and continues reporting spacecraft health, granting operators the chance to recover their assets.

With space heritage since February 2024 (TRL 9), we provide operators with a secure hotline for continuous telemetry and recovery actions, supporting faster root cause analysis, sustained visibility during abnormal events, and reduced mission downtime.

Applications

  • Satellite anomaly recovery – Restore functionality after failures
  • Continuous telemetry – Independent, real-time health data stream
  • Emergency communication – Maintain mission control connection
  • Firmware updates – Enable software-based satellite recovery
  • De-orbiting control – Interface with de-orbiting hardware for EOL disposal

Key features

  • 24/7 Continuous telemetry
  • 3-7 Seconds of latency
  • Root-cause analysis → commands & tasking → Recovery
  • Non ITAR, Ready to Ship
  • No RF spectrum license required
  • End-to-End Data encryption
  • Independent power reserve
  • Modular interface (USART, CAN-FD, SPI, and I2C)
  • Flexible space data plans tailored for missions

Customization

Customization is available on request. Please contact the team to get started.

ANT61 also offers flexible data plans tailored to specific mission needs.

Flight heritage

Proven in orbit in 2024 on board DLR's MAPHEUS 14 sounding rocket, the ANT61 Beacon sustained 11 G's and and 110° degrees of spin per second, all while sustaining communications with mission control.

Manufacturing

Designed and manufactured in Australia, we qualify our products to exceed SpaceX and JAXA component requirements.

Testing & qualification

Tested to exceed SpaceX & JAXA requirements for satellite components,

Engineered for resilience, to ensure that even if satellite primary systems fail, we still survive.

Export control

The ANT61 Beacon is non-ITAR regulated, making it a globally accessible solution for satellite operators and manufacturers. It complies with all relevant space industry standards and is ready for immediate integration and shipment, streamlining the process for fast deployment and operational readiness.
