Key highlights

The solar panels utilize two triple junction, 30.5% efficiency, space-rated cells with maximized surface area. Each cell is individually tested and have been qualified according to ESA and CASC specifications for LEO and GEO use. A reliable, mature bonding method ensures high reliability and prevent cell cracking under thermal vacuum. A light and temperature sensor come standard. Special mounting and electrical interfaces are available upon request.

The solar panels have passed random vibration, thermal cycle, thermal vacuum, and outgassing tests. Each unit is vibration tested prior to shipment and packed in a clean container. Each cell comes with an individual test and performance report. Contact Aphelion for alternate configurations and to inquire for compatibility with other products.
