Key highlights

Arctic Space's Ground Station-as-a-Service gives satellite operators access to ground-station capacity through a single platform for scheduling, access control and pass monitoring.

  • Ready-to-use ground infrastructure: Access Arctic Space's SCOUT 2.4 m and 3.7 m S/X-band antennas without building or maintaining your own stations.
  • High-latitude coverage: Our northern Sweden location provides frequent passes for polar and sun-synchronous missions.
  • Qualified missions: Every mission is qualified before onboarding to ensure compatibility and reliable operations.
  • Arctic Space-operated service: Arctic Space monitors pass execution and provides operational support, so your team can focus on the mission.
  • Growing network: Third-party stations can join the network after integration and qualification by Arctic Space, extending coverage for every operator.

Applications

Ground Station as a Service for LEO satellite missions, supporting launch and early orbit phase (LEOP), TT&C, routine operations and payload data downlink. Suitable for Earth observation, SAR, IoT/NTN, communications and constellation operators requiring reliable, secure and scalable ground connectivity.

Key features

  • Pass scheduling via portal and API: Book passes from the web portal or integrate directly through the API.
  • Identity and access control: Per-user accounts with role-based access, and dedicated mTLS certificates per customer for secure API access.
  • Per-customer data isolation: Schedules and pass data are visible only to the customer that owns them.
  • Pass monitoring: Station status, pass execution and usage history in the portal.
  • Mission qualification: Every mission is reviewed by Arctic Space for compatibility before its first booking.
  • Third-party node integration: Non-SCOUT stations are integrated and tested by Arctic Space before accepting bookings. Station owners keep priority for their own missions and choose which operators can book their remaining capacity.

Customization

Our Ground Station as a Service can be configured to match mission requirements, including contact schedules, TT&C and payload data services, data routing, cloud delivery, monitoring, reporting and operational support.

Standard configuration and mission onboarding are included where requirements can be met using our existing antennas, interfaces and service setup. Customer-specific hardware, dedicated antenna capacity, new frequency-band capability, bespoke software or data interfaces, enhanced redundancy, additional security requirements and on-site customer equipment may require separate engineering and will be quoted individually.

Final configuration, availability and pricing are confirmed following a technical mission review
