Key highlights
The Auria Heimdall provides configurable, fast, optimized space target observation scheduling for any network of ground-based and space-based SSA/SDA sensors. Easy to add new sensors of any phenomenology. Configurable, SSA-specific figure-of-merit (FoM) for tailored optimization goals and information-gain-driven opportunity scoring. Supports both search and targeted observation modes. Recurring and non-recurring observation tasks, including standing orders. Web-application supporting multiple simutaneous users with configurable role-based permissions. Cloud or hardware deployment options, including containerized deployments for Linux or Windows.
Applications
Heimdall is focused on observation planning solutuions for space situational/domain awareness applications.
Key features
- Ground-based sensor observation scheduling for SSA/SDA
- Space-based sensor observation scheduling for SSA/SDA
- Optimized observation plans driven by a configurable SSA-specific FoM
- Fast planning algorithms that deconflict and optimize
- Single-instance and recurring target observation task options
- Scalable for any number of observation assets and any number of observation targets
- Server and cloud deployment options for Linux or Windows
- Multi-user web application with configurable role-based permissions
Customization
Customization can be performed by Auria or the end customer, and typically involves defining available sensors and their attributes, adding and configuring users and their permissions, and configuring the SSA FoM for program-specific optimization goals. The comprehesive API can be leveraged to interface Heimdall with external software applications.

Manufacturing
Heimdall is maintained and enhanced through an agile software development process with 2-week sprints and a quarterly product release schedule. New product features and enhancements are primarily driven by customer requests, security posture requirements, and evolving deployment environments.
Export control
Heimdall is an ITAR-controlled solution when it includes the SSA-specific Figure of Merit (FoM). The software can be deployed without this FoM while the export license is being reviewed. A TAA for export approval by the US Department of State typically takes about 3 months to process.
