Key highlights
The X-Band Payload Data Downlink Antenna from Azista Space is a 4 × 4 patch array for high-speed payload data transmission from spacecraft. It is compact and modular, so it is easy to integrate on satellites where mass and mounting space are limited.
It operates in the 8025–8400 MHz band, giving 375 MHz of bandwidth, with a reflection coefficient better than -15 dB. It supports right-hand and left-hand circular polarization (RHCP/LHCP), with a boresight axial ratio below 2 dB. The half-power beamwidth is about 24°, and boresight gain is about 16 dBi.
The antenna measures about 105 mm × 105 mm × 4.5 mm (connector excluded) and weighs about 80 g. It has an SMA (female) connector and mounts with four M2 fasteners. It is qualified for a temperature range of -100 °C to +100 °C.
Key benefits:
- Compact
- Wideband
- Modular solution
