Summary

Celestial's S-band patch antenna can be used for a variety of satellites, ranging from 1U CubeSats to big satellites. The antenna is capable of withstanding Full-Duplex CCSDS Telemetry, Tracking and Command (TT&C) by any off-the-shelf available satellite transceiver system.

The antenna has been developed based on years of experience in antenna design and employing multiple performance enhancement techniques. As a result, the S-band antenna CST-S-9882 provides an optimized performance-to-size ratio while maintaining relatively low cost.

The antenna is available in different sizes, ranging from 98 x 98 mm to 50 x 50 mm. A CAD model for the 98 x 98 mm deisgn is provided for reference purposes. Customers can contact the supplier for antenna CAD models for any other size specifications.

To meet specific requirements, Celestial can customize the antenna performance and interfaces, tailored to customer missions. If requested, Celestial engineers will work with engineers on the client-side and verify mission communication requirements. Celestial engineers support customers with physical antenna integration. Based on customer preference, the support will be on-site or remote, via teleconferencing. Antenna development and testing offered by Celestial satisfies the requirements laid in ECSS-Q-70-71A rev.1, ECSS-Q-ST-70-31C, ECSS- Q-ST-70-60C and ESA-ECSS-10-04.
