Chongqing Pioneer Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. is dedicated to developing high-performance, short-cycle micro satellites and core standalone products, aiming to create remote sensing satellite constellations and enable commercial applications of remote sensing data.
The photovoltaic conversion efficiency of the triple junction gallium arsenide solar cell array is over 30%, providing energy for satellites. Through process optimization and process improvement, the costs of our products are effectively controlled. The product was validated in orbit first in 2019 and can meet the mission requirements of satellites with different power levels.
As of February 2024, nearly 30 different types of satellites have been equipped with our products with good in orbit performance.

Flight heritage
24 sets have been applied on an occultation measurement constellation named TM-1, which consists of 60+ satellites. At the first stage, 23 satellites have been launched to the LEO, while another 40+ will be launched in the following 2 years.
Manufacturing
Pioneer Satellite has constructed China's first smart automated production line for satellite core components, with an annual output of 200 sets of satellite core components. The production line has successfully mass-produced solar arrays, elevating the product yield from 70% to over 98%. It also makes the production cycle 50% shorter, cuts the cost to 30% and enables a two-thirds reduction in lead time compared to traditional modes compared to traditional methods.

There are no restrictions toward solar cell array products. Our products are sold globally.
