The Cubecom μHDRTX-K is a highly configurable multi-channel K-band transmitter that has two independent transmission paths. The transmitter implements DVB-S2 encoding and can support multi-channel transmission.

Each channel has a symbol rate of up to 150 Msps or 300 Msps in single-channel mode. Channel bonding is implemented which combines multiple channels to constitute larger transmission bandwidths. The μHDRTX-K is ideal for space missions that generate very large data sets such as multispectral imagers. This allows for payload data to be rapidly downloaded in a single pass and new data to be captured. The adaptive modulation and coding of the transmitter enable optimized data throughput during a pass.
