Summary

The Cubecom KTXG2 next-generation K/Ka-band transmitter design was based on making small but significant
improvements to the company's original XTX. Thus building on the first generation’s legacy in performance and leveraging its significant flight heritage, to inform design decisions. The addition of 32GB of onboard memory and dynamic re-transmit capability allows you to minimize your link margin excess and maximize your data throughput.

The KTXG2 is designed for nanosatellite missions with a CubeSat Kit PC/104 form factor. The transmitter implements the DVB-S2 standard up to MODCOD 28 which supports QPSK, 8-PSK, 16-APSK, and 32-APSK modulation at a symbol rate of 50 Msps. The maximum encoded data rate is 250 Mbps, making it the perfect transmitter for data-intensive missions, constellations and any space mission that may require a high data rate downlink.
