Solis+ is a family of Space-grade Solar Arrays meticulously built using high-efficiency (>30%) Triple Junction GaAs Solar Cells to maximise power generation while optimizing both the mass and space considerations. These solar arrays are precision-engineered and manufactured by Dhruva Space to operate in the demanding conditions of space, offering customized power capacities of up to a few kW, with multiple bus configurations that are suitable for larger classes of satellites and spacecraft.

Modular in nature, Solis+ is designed to meet a wide range of power (order of kW) and voltages, size and mechanism requirements. Our capabilities encompass both body-mounted and deployable systems, featuring integrated sensors and actuators tailored to meet the specific demands of various missions.

Our lightweight, durable, and reliable solar arrays are the result of a highly standardized production process derived from the heritage of previous missions. They are also efficiently packed to generate maximum power within the defined panel area.

Our solar arrays undergo a comprehensive process of design, fabrication, testing, and environmental qualification to ensure their robustness and reliability in harsh space conditions. This involves rigorous testing procedures such as Thermovac, Vibration, and Large Area Pulsed Solar Simulator (LAPSS) as required. All components, materials, and processes used in our solar arrays comply with strict ECSS standards or equivalent standards.

Our state-of-the-art infrastructure includes Cleanrooms, cell welding machines, complete panel fabrication, and assembly capabilities to realize the Space-Grade Solar Arrays for Smallsats.
