Key highlights

At LANZO Batteries, we design space-grade energy storage solutions that combine modularity, scalability, and reliability. By
using COTS components, we reduce costs while maintaining the highest quality standards, making our batteries an efficient
and cost-effective choice for demanding applications. Our batteries are built with 18650 cells, known for their high
energy density, durability, and efficiency. Each module consists of four horizontally arranged cells, allowing for seamless
expansion and adaptation to different power requirements. Thanks to our plug-and-play architecture, integration is simple
and hassle-free. Whether used individually or as part of a larger system, our batteries offer a robust and flexible energy
storage solution designed for cutting-edge applications.

Applications

Launchers power avionics, SCOE for battery charging and analyser, Hypersonic vehicles,

Key features

YAK C500:  Number of cells 40, Nominal voltaje 28 V, Energy 500 Wh, Weight 3 kg, Capadity 17 Ah, Nominal discharge current 50 A, Peak discharge current 85 A, dimensions 300x110x100mm

YAK C1500 Number of cells:120, Nominal voltaje 28 V, Energy 1482 Wh, weight 10 kg, capacity 51 Ah, Nominal discharge current 150 A, Peak discharge current 255 A, dimensions 320x330x100 mm

SCOE for managing charging process, and balancing of cells and modules, with protection agaings overvoltage and  temperature maintenaince.

Customization

YAK batteries could be scaled for higher power needs. The YAK-C1500 consists of three YAK-C500 modules electrically connected in parallel. Physically, the three modules are arranged side by side and integrated into a single mechanical structure. Internally, the modules are interconnected and mechanically joined, although each one is manufactured independently. This configuration ensures a streamlined integration, with only two externally accessible electrical connections: one connector dedicated to interfacing with the SCOE system on the ground, and another for connection to the launcher’s internal power system. As a result, the battery appears externally as a compact, unified unit.
