Summary
Software is flexible, specialized hardware is extremely fast. So why not write software, then turn it into a computer chip?
This is what Hastlayer does by transforming .NET software into FPGA-implemented logic circuits. The result is faster and uses less power without sacrificing the ability to continue to develop the software.
Hastlayer can be used both in ground segment HPC applications (on-premise or in the cloud) and on board of satellites if a Xilinx Zynq-based OBC is used. Possible applications include e.g. image processing, data compression, SDR communication.
The documentation and code can be found on GitHub. Hastlayer operates through a monthly subscription fee.
