The MDA Space TriDAR is a proven, reliable, LiDAR tracking system that facilitates Autonomous Rendezvous and Docking, Target Acquisition and Autonomous Re-acquisition, Satellite Servicing for vehicles lacking markers, Vehicle Inspection, 3D Imaging, and Change Detection.

The system utilizes 6DoF pose estimation to determine both orientation and distance without the use of cooperative targets.  

Multiple generations of MDA Space TriDAR have been developed and deployed in space, with various hardware configurations available to
support diverse mission requirements.
