Purpose

The Launch Power SCOE has the task of providing external power to the S/C during the launch campaign and can also be used for other bus power tasks, allowing for extensive testing and validation at various stages of integration as well as providing power to the S/C until launch. The Launch Power SCOE provides the following basic functions:

• S/C Bus power source by the means of COTS power supply together with an Rovsing Second Level Protection Unit
• Hot redundancy for launch campaign 
• Control and monitoring of the associated discrete interfaces (Voltage & Current read-back, temperature and etc.) by the Rovsing Launch Power unit.

• RO-2100 Launch Power unit
• RO-1130 High Current SLP Platform
• COTS Power Supply 
• RO-3000 RPDU (Mains isolation and power distribution)
• Controller PC
• Rovsing EGSE Controller SW suite
