Key highlights

The Scientific Instruments Model Si-540 is a miniature-size Silicon Diode Temperature Sensor. It can operate over temperature ranges between 1.5K to 450K.

The Si-540 sensor is mounted in a gold-plated copper canister with four 36 AWG polyimide-coated phosphor bronze leads. Its leads are also available in varying lengths.

Scientific Instruments offer different accuracy groupings based on each sensor’s adherence to the typical response curve. The sensor is linear over a wide temperature range interval, has high sensitivity in lower range, and interchangeable to a standard V/T curve.
