Key highlights

ST25 Hall-effect thruster is designed for use as part of the propulsion system for satellites with onboard power larger than 300 W. The structure of ST25 includes a combination of solenoids and permanent magnets to minimize the electric power needed to create the magnet field in the acceleration channel.

ST-25 thruster was designed for Xenon as working substance application, but it can be adopted for Argon or Krypton too. Structure of the ST-25 thruster includes two preheated hollow cathodes (one of them − reserved), and the insured start time is less than 240 s.
