Summary
The SkyFox Labs nanoPATCH-L1/FM (Flight Model) is designed for space applications. It is a long-term optimized CubeSat GPS Antenna specially designed for modern satellites, CubeSats, and a majority of University projects, where the satellite development team requires a module with limited size, to be incorporated into an already "fully occupied" satellite wall.
The module is required to be incorporated into an RF conductive panel such as PCB with a fully flooded copper plane or aluminum solar panel wall. The conductive surface acts as a ground plane which naturally equalizes the antenna radation pattern. Optimal performance is achieved once the nanoPATCH-L1 is fixed using countersunk screws.
Applications
Suitable for Crowded CubeSat sidewall panels and SmallSats
