Key highlights

Space Inventor’s 12U satellite is equipped with an electric propulsion system and four 100 mNms reaction wheels, providing exceptional manoeuvrability and control. It also supports advanced pointing accuracy with optional dual star trackers (10-20 arcseconds) and six fine sun sensors, making it suitable for missions requiring precise attitude control, such as Earth observation, rendezvous, and tactical communication.

With payload volumes of 6-8 units and a payload mass capacity of 6-9 kg, the 12U offers ample space for larger or more complex payloads, while maintaining the high agility and fine pointing capabilities typical of smaller platforms. The X-band high-speed downlink at 100 Mbps, coupled with up to 64 GB of data storage, ensures rapid and efficient data handling.

This platform delivers the performance typically seen in microsatellites, within a CubeSat framework, making it perfect for missions requiring higher power, larger payloads, and precise operational control. Whether for scientific, military, or commercial missions, the 12U platform is built to exceed expectations.

Applications

  • State-of-the-art power distribution modules for efficient energy management
  • Equipped with a suite of cutting-edge attitude sensors, including star trackers, fine sun sensors, and IMU, ensuring high accuracy pointing knowledge
  • Capable of manoeuvring from different orbital slots in Geostationary orbit
  • Four best-in-class momentum wheels with low micro-vibration levels guarantee precise control
  • Secure decommissioning of satellite after mission
  • Safe decommissioning: Atmosphere disposal protocol
