
Summary
The Texas Instruments TPS7A4501-SP is a low-dropout (LDO) regulator for space-grade subsystems such as FPGA, data converters and analog circuitry. The radiation hardened regulator is optimized for fast-transient response and is designed to have very-low output noise making it suitable for RF supply applications.
The quiescent current is well controlled. The regulator can be used with small ceramic capacitors. Reverse-battery protection, thermal limiting, current limiting and reverse-current protection are included as part of internal protection circuitry.
The 5962-1222402VHA is available in 10-pin CFP (U) package and 5962R1222403VXC is available in thermally enhanced 10-pin CFP (HKU) package. For both 5962R1222403V9A for RHA and 5962-1222402V9A for non-RHA versions, Known Good Die (KGD) option is available.
