Summary
The Texas Instruments LM137QML-SP is a 3-terminal negative voltage regulators suitable for harsh environments, precision current regulation, on-card regulation and programmable voltage regulation.
The regulators require only 1 output capacitor for frequency compensation and 2 external resistors to set the output voltage.
LM137 series features thermal shutdown, internal current limiting and safe-area compensation as blowout-proof against overloads.
LM137 are complementary to the LM117 adjustable positive regulators
