ThrustMe's NPT30-I2 1.5U is a modular propulsion unit for CubeSats with a patented, pipeless design that avoids clogging. It is provided pre-filled with solid iodine propellant, which is non-pressurized for enhanced safety and simpler handling than toxic liquid alternatives. Use of iodine also avoids sloshing and provides geometrical design flexibility to accommodate platform requirements.

The NPT30-I2 1.5U is platform-agnostic and is provided with full AIT support. It is possible to scale the propulsion by clustering multiple units. The NPT30 has multiple, automatic, imbedded regulation and control systems. It continuously optimizes performance with respect to the instantaneous satellite situation, which could include, for example, reduced power availability, overheating of the support structure, or for the need of a sudden and urgent maneuvers (urgent request for collision avoidance). Embedded fail-safe algorithms ensure that the system automatically shuts down if an anomaly is detected - It is designed to protect itself, and the satellite.

The system is fully integrated and contains the propellant feed system and storage, along with the PPU. It has been designed with embedded intelligent operations that enable passive thermal control, continuous throttling, and built-in self-tuning.

The system's redundancy includes cathodes and ignition systems, and it also features continuous neutralization monitoring. Fail-safe algorithms ensure the unit shuts down if an anomaly is detected and the system is ITAR-free.
