HDES Service & Engineering BV develops, produces and sells Carbon dioxide and Oxygen Cool Gas Generators for space and terrestrial applications. The Cool Gas Generators are solid propellant gas generators that produce a pure gas at ambient temperature. They can be used for space inflation systems, cold gas propulsion of pressurization of propellants and fluids. Cool Gas Generators are not pressurized until activation, have a long lifetime, are rugged and cannot leak. Nitrogen Cool Gas Generators have flown in space several times on board of Proba-2 (ESA), Inflatesai (Surrey Space centre), Delfi N3xT (TU Delft) and RemoveDebris (SSTL). HDES is based in the Space Business Incubation Centre in Noordwijk, the Netherlands and has a small but dedicated team. It has all capabilities to design, develop, produce and test Cool Gas Generators and its staff has a large experience with Space hardware projects.
