Teledyne Brown Engineering is a leader in innovative products, systems, integration, operations, and advanced manufacturing solutions for over 65 years.

The company has participated in every major U.S. space initiative beginning with Jupiter, followed by the Space Shuttle program, the International Space Station, Constellation, and the Space Launch System. TeledyneBrown Engineering continues to support NASA's mission to move “Forward to the Moon”.

Teledyne Brown Engineering's systems engineering process provides a consistent and repeatable basis for the development of all of the company's engineering products and serves as the engineering foundation for any system developed by Teledyne Brown Engineering. Their processes and supporting procedures are tailored in number and scope to the individual system types and unique requirements of the system to be developed. Teledyne Brown Engineering's System Engineering Process covers the entire life cycle of a product from the inception of the system requirements to the phase out at the end of the useful system life cycle.

Teledyne Brown Engineering's mechanical engineers apply their knowledge of mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, machine design, materials science, and energy to provide manufacturable and sustainable design solutions. TBE uses solid modeling software in the development of unique, one-of-a-kind systems. The company's process integrates design and requirements tracking tools to ensure that all of the requirements are incorporated during the design phase.

Teledyne Brown Engineering has assembled a diverse team of large and small business subcontractors with proven capabilities and extensive experience in human spaceflight operations and integration; high-risk, hazardous human operations and integration activities in closed and/or confined non-space environments; and unmanned spaceflight operations and integration experience.
