At the core of each processor is a hybrid environment of multi-core CPUs and reprogrammable logic, designed to provide enhanced flexibility and consistent, reliable performance. Xiphos processors have been benchmarked favourably against GHz-class commercial processors using "hybridization" of software and logic implementations of computing-intensive algorithms.
