Key highlights
The Ka-Band 40 W SSPA Module is a high-power millimeter-wave solid-state power amplifier for Ka-band transmitters from 27.5-31 GHz. It is designed for integration into a PA subsystem housing with gain, external on/off control, RF output power, temperature monitoring, DC bias monitoring, RF power monitoring and an integrated alarm signal. With 40 W Psat, 35 W QPSK linear output at 10 MSps and >20% PAE for 32 W QPSK, it is well matched to high-throughput satellite communications, Ka-band payload downlinks and other mmWave SatCom systems where GaN RF performance and Diamond Cooling®-enabled thermal efficiency can help manage heat, power and payload volume.
Applications
Ka-band satellite communications, high-throughput satellite payloads, Ka-band downlink, GEO feeder links, LEO high-data-rate transmitters, QPSK mmWave transmitters, phased array RF chains, solid-state Ka-band power amplifiers
