Key highlights
The Arquimea 9b, 1-2GSps ADC IP is an analog-to-digital converter for front-end electronics for gamma, X-ray, visible and IR detection, and L-band RF communication.
The rad-hard ADC IP AQIPADC0x for GF FDX 22nm FDSOI technology is in development in the frame of H2020 program. The ADC IP is in design phase and is expected to achieve TRL6 by Q4 2023.
The available options of 9b resolution ADC IP include
- Soft IP
Applications
Typical applications include:
- Radio, imager, spectrometer
- Earth Observation SAR Radar
- L band Up/Down conversion (e.g. GNSS signals)
Key features
- 22nm FDSOI process
- Reduces the parts count compared to former systems (avoid mixers, LO synthesizers, amplifiers, filters), the board size and power
- Better configurability
- Differential Inputs
- Pipelined Architecture
- Target mainly direct down conversion applications
Testing & qualification
Arquimea's Quality Management System meets the requirements of UNE-EN 9100:2018 Aerospace Series and has been audited and certified by the Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification, AENOR.
