The fentISS LithOS is a guest operating system offering the ARINC-653 APplication EXecutive (APEX) to the applications on top of XtratuM.

The LithOS enables implementation of the process concepts in ARINC-652 standard. It supports the multiple concurrent processes in same partition.

The guest operating system also facilitates communication between processes and process scheduling.
