Key highlights

Leaf Line is Leaf Space’s GSaaS platform, providing access to a globally distributed ground station network through a single operational interface. Supporting TT&C and high-throughput payload downlink, all services are managed via API and the Leaf Portal.

Capacity can be accessed through automated scheduling, on-demand booking, or priority allocation, enabling different ConOps and operational requirements. Standard missions can onboard in as little as two weeks using sandbox APIs and automated compatibility checks, while custom integrations are supported through dedicated RF validation and engineering services.

Ground station licensing is managed by Leaf Space, and GSE is available for testing and validation. Leaf Line supports 30+ commercial radios, including GomSpace, EnduroSat, Space Inventor, SatLab, Syrlinks, Blue Canyon Technologies, IQ spacecom, Alén Space, Cubecom, Nano Avionics, Skylabs, XDLINX Space Labs, Isispace with custom radio integration available upon request.

Key features

  • Satellite operators interact with the Leaf Line service through the Leaf Space API, a unique and unified interface that streamlines integration between the customer’s environment and Leaf Space’s infrastructure
  • MQTT lightweight real-time protocol used for telemetry downlink and command uplink during passes. Single connection to the Leaf Line cloud broker, no per-station management
  • Decoded payload data delivered via UDP/TCP/mTLS (real-time) or S3/SFTP/FTPS (file-based), with OpenVPN and IPsec support for secure transport
  • The Leaf Space Ground Station Emulator (GSE) is a complete set of ground equipment used for testing and verifying compatibility between clients' transceivers and Leaf Space's infrastructure.

It is provided on a rental basis, for use before starting other service development, and complements Leaf Space's global ground segment-as-a-service (GSaaS) offering.

  • Multiple capacity access methods: from full automation to full customization
  • Onboarding: get standard missions up and running in as little as two weeks, with tailored activation paths available for more complex or non-standard missions
  • Leaf Space manages all ground station RF licences
  • Mission Management team supports your mission throughout its entire lifecycle
