N-SPHERE can synchronize from different GNSS systems including GPS, GALILEO, BeiDou, and GLONASS. It provides an accuracy of more than 0.5 meters by using an algorithm (referenced as “Bolero”) developed by CNES.
Its Software-Defined-Radio (SDR) core architecture provides significant flexibility and authorizes in-flight firmware upgrades or software configuration adjustments.
The product design belongs to the Syrlinks “New Space III” product category. This product assurance subclass meets the requirements of Nano/CubeSat missions, targeting a typical 2 to 5-year lifetime in the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) with a maximum Total Ionized radiation Dose of 15 krad.

Flight heritage
