Key highlights
Building on the heritage of the U.S. arm, Stellar Exploration Inc., in power and propulsion system development, Stellar Exploration EU delivers solutions for a wide range of missions, from micro- to small-satellites. We offer state of the art power systems, propulsion technologies, and on-demand custom RF development.
The company is strongly delivery-oriented, prioritizing flight hardware over paper studies. This approach is supported by a proven track record, with over 40 flight models delivered to customers within past years. Our customer-centric methodology enables support everything from ESA institutional programs, following ECSS-compliant development processes, to fast-tracked commercial missions with delivery lead times below three months. This adaptability is enabled by robust internal processes and a highly trained engineering and MAIT team.

ESA Projects:
IOSHEX EPS development - Stellar Exploration has been selected by SAB Aerospace to develop the for the innovative IOSHEX mission, focused on modular robotic spacecraft for in-orbit servicing. Our role includes designing, analyzing, and verifying the EPS, ensuring reliable power generation, storage, distribution, and conditioning for the spacecraft.
PERLA - battery based on advanced silicon-anode lithium-ion cells to deliver 400–500 Wh/kg, far surpassing conventional batteries. It provides high power, reduced mass, and space-grade reliability for long-duration missions and human exploration.
STREAM - project develops an advanced electric gear pump for in-space propulsion, aiming to replace traditional pressure-fed systems in OTVs, kick stages, and motorized dispensers.
Enceladus L4B - Stellar Exploration is evaluating primary battery cells under cryogenic conditions to simulate the extreme environment on Enceladus. The project aims to demonstrate reliable power performance at ultra-low temperatures, a critical enabling technology for future landers and subsurface exploration missions.
EARS - Supported by the ESA InCubed program, project aiming at enhancing current radio occultation measurements through the development of new instruments and optimized mission designs
