Key highlights
Colossus is a U.S.-owned leader in space computing, pioneering radiation-tolerant GPU and Versal-based supercomputers for satellites. With a focus on high-performance edge computing, we transform commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware into rad-tolerant solutions capable of managing AI / ML workloads for commercial space and defense applications in orbit.
Our rad-tolerant solutions include:
- Data processing platforms leveraging NVIDIA GPUs
- Versal adaptive compute platform leveraging AMD heterogeneous computing
- A patent-pending computational SSD storage solution
Colossus computers help satellites process and act on data in orbit, reducing reliance on Earth-based infrastructure, maximizing bandwidth efficiency, and accelerating speed to insight. Our technology is used to support autonomous satellite operations, including in-space servicing, ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance), and next-gen Earth observation (hyperspectral, SAR).
Colossus achieved flight heritage for its first space computer in March 2024 onboard the Loft Yam-6 platform, progressing from our first NVIDIA GPU prototype to customer flight heritage in just 36 months. We collaborate with NASA and support a range of dual-use defense and commercial projects.
As a U.S.-owned company, we are committed to advancing secure, high-performance computing solutions for government, defense, and private-sector space missions. As an engineering led company, we understand the needs of developers and system architects.
