EXA is supported by the Ecuadorian State through a long-standing cooperation with the Ecuadorian Air Force.

With over 18 years of experience, EXA became the first institution in Ecuador to design, build, and place a satellite in orbit using fully indigenous technology. Since then, EXA has contributed hardware, engineering, and mission support to more than 148 satellites, 88 aerospace projects, and 8 complete missions worldwide.

EXA develops flight-proven subsystems for Small Satellites and Cube Satellites, including: power systems (solar cells, deployable arrays, EPS units, high-density batteries), mechanical and structural systems, onboard electronics, antennas, attitude-control solutions, and thermal-management components. Its technology has flown on multiple CubeSat, SmallSat, Space Tugs and even Launch Vehicle missions, consistently demonstrating reliability in extreme orbital environments.

EXA’s space hardware is commercially available through its official distributors: www.CubeSat.Market and www.SmallSat.Market, which provide global access to ITAR-free, space-qualified components for commercial, academic, and governmental operators.

EXA is also very active in cutting-edge space science and technology research trough the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) and the American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA)

By combining sovereign technological development with international collaboration, EXA delivers dependable and scalable solutions for the space industry.
