B2Space aims to provide reliable, flexible & low-cost access to Low Earth Orbit for small- & microsatellites. B2Space is developing a new concept, dubbed the "Rockoon" system, through use o Generative Design, Autonomous Systems and Additive Layer Manufacturing. B2Space was founded in 2016 by 4 passionate engineers with the mission of enabling greater access and use of space.

The company's launch concept consist of a stratospheric balloon, able to lift a rocket launcher to altitudes of 35 km, where the aerodynamic drag is negligible. Then, B2Space's IP-protected platform enables them to perform a controlled launch of the rocket, taking advantage of launching from high altitude, allowing for significant propellant and cost saving compared to conventional launch systems.
